As Director of the Practice Committee of the World Stuttering and Cluttering Organization (WSCO), I am pleased to share some of the highlights of our recent activities.
Over the past months, our team has been focused on expanding the reach and visibility of WSCO. A key initiative was the successful organization of an online workshop in April, hosted by Elaine Kelman, entitled "Working with Parents of Children who Stutter." The event brought together professionals and individuals from across the globe and provided valuable insights into best practices for supporting families in therapy. We are proud to have facilitated such an engaging and practical session, which fostered meaningful discussions and learning.
In addition to this event, the Practice Committee has worked to increase awareness about WSCO and the benefits of becoming a member. As a result of our efforts, more people are now informed about WSCO’s mission, its resources, and the opportunities it offers for professional development, collaboration, and advocacy.
We look forward to continuing this important work—building connections, promoting best practices, and creating more opportunities for learning and support within the global stuttering and cluttering communities.
